Recap of the Clipper and Looking Toward the Next Storm


Well this clipper turned out to be a partial bust for the area with the highest totals of 3 inches being in Bucks and Mercer counties. I would say most of the region made out with 1-2 inches of light powdery snow. Winds will pick up tonight and I would watch for some blowing of the snow that fell from the recent clipper. Our next chance of some sort of precipitation will be next Monday or Tuesday. Right now it is looking like a classic west to east storm (one that enters the west coast at the same latitude it exits at the east coast).

Well, the clipper is coming through the area dropping down around 2-5 inches of snow in the northern part of the coverage area, and 1-3 inches in the southern areas. Here’s the forecast

Tonight: Snow, becoming steady at times. Accumulation of 2-5 inches. Low 26

Tomorrow: Some snow showers around during the mornng, then clearing out by the afternoon High 31

Tomorrow Night: Clear and cold Low 21

Wednesday: Mostly sunny throughout the day, getting warmer High 36 Low 24

Thursday: Sunshine with barely any clouds, getting even warmer. Expect melting of the snowpack High 39 Low 24
